HRM Outside Broadcast & Events Team

Volunteer members of Hospital Radio Maidstone use their expertise and equipment to help raise the much needed funds that keeps the station broadcasting.

We are fortunate to have studios located in the Maidstone Hospital however we still need to raise £5000 each year which pays for the running of the station.

Our previous Sprite caravan based broadcast facility which was obtained in the 1970’s was retired in 2014 after some extensive fundraising.

This allowed us to upgrade to our current outside broadcast mobile studio – an all weather trailer fully equipped with cables, amplifiers, audio mixing desk, generator and speakers.

With our equipment, commentary and music able to cover a central arena and the surrounding areas we will take on the management of arena events throughout the day enabling the organisers to concentrate on the visitors and stall holders Lost property and parents, information and promotion of the various stalls and events can be covered by our team.

Our professional approach, reliability and reasonable pricing means we are regularly invited back year after year by our happy clients.
